In summer day camp at the YMCA of Portsmouth, your kids will make new friends and have tons of fun as they explore new adventures every day. Close to major highways, Camp Otter offers a rare setting for appreciation of the outdoors. Activity Central provides campers with a variety of daily activities like character development, active play, creative arts, science, swimmingand camper choice. the YMCA has to offer? Seventy acres of rugged, natural terrain offer our community of 150 campers and 65 staff members plenty of room to grow. This week campers will explore a country, home to one of our sister organizations. For building self-esteem, reconnecting with nature, and making life-long friends, there is no place better than Camp Nokomis for Girls. At Camp Otter, children spend their days exploring, swimming, learning new skills, and making life-long friends. Field trips may include activities such as zip lining, tubing, and hiking. This camp is designed for the seasoned gymnast looking to improve their skill base in our state-of-the-art gymnastics area. Lions, Hyenas and Elephants, OH MY! At Camp Wakonda your camper will find their home away from home where they feel safe and a sense of belonging.

Kinder Camp is the flexible transition from summer vacation t o the school year. Registration is by the day, giving families the flexibility to send their child to camp for as many or as few days as is needed to fit their schedule. Campers will also enjoy water activities, reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor time.
